Peggy D'Adamo
Peggy currently works as IT/Knowledge Management Advisor for USAID’s Global Health Bureau, Office of Population and Reproductive Health in the Policy, Evaluation and Communication Division. She is also the contracting officer for the Knowledge for Health (K4Health) Project, which manages the Training Resource Package website.
Prior to joining USAID in 2008, she worked for Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health Center for Communication Programs (JHU·CCP) as a Deputy Project Director for the INFO Project, which was the project that preceded K4Health. While working for JHU·CCP, Peggy had a number of different responsibilities including working with POPLINE, Photoshare, and the Media/Materials Clearinghouse, a unique collection of health communication materials from around the world, some dating back to the 1980s. She has conducted IT and information training in Zambia, Morocco, Nigeria, and Senegal, and worked on technology-related projects in India, Uganda, and Namibia.
Peggy is a librarian by training and in the past she has worked in academic, public, and school libraries. She has an MLS from University of Maryland and an MS in Business from Johns Hopkins University.
